Moisture analysers MA 50/1.X2.A.WH
MA X2.A moisture analysers are high-tech measuring instruments for the rapid determination of relative moisture content, dry mass content and other parameters in samples of various substances. The MA.X2.A series is equipped with an innovative system: the drying chamber can be opened and closed automatically using the button or proximity sensors. This solution allows:
- Keeping the moisture analyser clean – the operator does not touch the moisture analyser housing.
- Eliminate the shock of manually closing the chamber – the chamber closes automatically and always with the same intensity.
- Achieve high repeatability of opening and closing the drying chamber.
- Increased automation of the drying process.
- Increased operating safety by eliminating contact with hot drying chamber components.
- Improved operational ergonomics.
The MA.X2.A series features a user-friendly colour touch screen. Free configuration of the control panel can be achieved via hotkeys, customisable information fields and programmable labels. The drying process can be done for any temperature and – thanks to databases – the specific drying process can be set for a specific product.
Strengths of the X2 series moisture analysers:
- Automatic opening and closing of the drying chamber
- 5" colour capacitive touch screen
- Modern interface
- Simple and intuitive operation
- Programmable display
- Drying profiles (standard, gentle, gradual, fast)
- GLP/GMP print-map
- Repeatable and custom applications
- Optimised work thanks to the use of halogen lamps
Capacity and temperature
Maximum capacity of MA.X2.A ranges from 50g/0.1mg to 210g/0.1mg. Moisture content is measured with an accuracy of 0.01% (0.001% for samples larger than 1.5g). The maximum drying temperature is 160˚C (an optional moisture analyser with a maximum temperature of 250˚C is available). An additional element to the moisture analysers that enhances their functionality is a water vapour permeability determination kit used in the tanning industry to determine the hygienic properties of leather.
Data bases:
The X2 series moisture analyser information system is based on 8 databases, allowing many users to operate the product database which includes many samples. Collected measurements can be subjected to further analysis. The collected data is stored in 8 databases:
- Products (up to 5000 products)
- Users (up to 100 users)
- Packages (up to 100 packages)
- Customers (up to 1000 customers)
- Drying programmes (up to 200 drying programmes)
- Drying reports (up to 5000 drying reports)
- Environmental conditions (up to 10000 records)
- Weighing (up to 50000 records)
Results
Results obtained using the moisture analyser (final result of the drying process):
- % M – mass loss in %; displays the mass change recorded during the drying process, expressed as a percentage,
- % D – dry mass obtained during the drying process, expressed as a percentage; the result is the portion of the sample remaining on the weighing pan after evaporation of moisture,
- % R – the ratio of moisture content to dry mass obtained during the drying process, expressed as a percentage; the result is the portion of the sample which has evaporated during the drying process,
- g – mass of the sample after drying.
Interfaces
The USB interface ensures fast transfer and copying of any results of your work (measurements, reports, databases) to a computer or other moisture analyser. Remote access to the moisture analyser allows online data management. Cooperation with E2R allows external data management, which increases efficiency and results to the maximum.
