Handy coating thickness gauge MiniTest 70

The MiniTest 70 is a lightweight and handy coating thickness gauge (dft gauge) in a pencil format with a built-in sensor. It enables non destructive measurement of:

• non-magnetic coatings (paint, synthetic materials, chromium etc.) on a ferromagnetic substrate (steel)
• insulating coatings (varnish, enamel, synthetic material etc.) on conductive substrates (aluminium, copper, austenitic stainless steel) (only in the FN type models).

 The spring-mounted sensors are equipped with wear-resistant sensor poles and ensure durability even when used for measurements on rough and abrasive substrates.

Aplications

Non destructive measurement of:

• Non-magnetic coatings like varnishes, enamels, chromium and zinc on ferromagnetic base materials (e.g. steel)
• Insulating coatings like varnishes and anodic coatings on non-ferrous metals (e.g. aluminium, copper, austenitic stainless steel, brass).
